JAKARTA, Mar 17 (BBJ-JFX) - Palm oil Prices higher on shortcovering after yesterday's fall, lead higher overnight crude oil and soy oil,  amid Malaysia's palm oil exports rose.  

The Nymex, benchmark light, sweet crude for April delivery down as 34 cent to $47.01 a barrel after-hours electronic trading. Yesterday, oil rose $1.10 to $47.35 a barrel.

May soybean oil at the Chicago Board of Trade up 0.02 poin to 30.88 per-pound in Asian trade today. Overnight, May Soybean Oil finished rose 0.69 point to settl 30.86 cent per-pound.

The benchmark June contract on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange (CPO BMD) up 38 ringgit t0 1940 a mectric tons.
